🚜 How can I withdraw a bid? Need friendly advice!

15 replies 847 views

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm reaching out for some friendly help. I placed bids on several tractors through Bringelands Maskinhandel (bringelandsmaskinhandelab.com), but I only intend to purchase one. Now I'm worried I might end up winning multiple auctions! 🙈

I've looked everywhere in my account for a "cancel bid" button but can't find it. Has anyone dealt with this before? How do I retract a bid? Really appreciate any guidance!

Thanks, Phil

THANKS! Phil and LuAnn

Hey Phil! No worries, this happens to a lot of folks. The easiest way is to contact support via phone or email. Just provide the auction links or tractor details (year, make, model). I had the same issue last month — I sent them an email and they canceled my extra bids within a few hours. You'll get a confirmation, and the bids will disappear from your account. Hope that helps! 🚜

Thank you so much, TractorTom! 🙌 I called them this morning and they canceled my bid immediately. Such a relief! Really appreciate your help, friend. 😁

I had the exact same scare! Actually ended up winning two once (before I learned my lesson). Honestly, they really should add a "delete my bid" button. But no complaints — I sold the second tractor for a small profit so it worked out. But yeah, calling support is the way to go. Glad you got it sorted! 👍

Just a gentle observation — if you only want one tractor, maybe don't bid on several at once. 😅 But I'm glad Bringelands Maskinhandel was able to help you cancel. Their support team is usually pretty responsive. Next time, just bid on your top choice and save yourself the stress! 🎯

Don't take MeadowMike too seriously — he's a little grumpy sometimes but has a good heart 😂 Anyway, glad you got it fixed! For future reference, some platforms have a 1-hour grace period. But yeah, calling is fastest. Welcome to the forum, Phil!

Hey Phil, welcome aboard! 👋 I've been there before — bid on three tractors thinking I'd win one, then suddenly I was winning two. I just emailed customer service with the item numbers and they removed the extra bids within an hour. Super painless. Good luck with your new tractor! 🚜

Pro tip for next time: set a maximum bid on only ONE tractor that you really want. Auction fever is real! 😅 But seriously, their customer service is great — I've had to cancel bids before too. You're in good hands. Let us know which tractor you end up with!

Just adding my voice — calling them is definitely the fastest method. Also, check your spam folder for the confirmation email just in case. And congrats in advance on your new tractor! What model are you hoping to win? 🚜

Great to see new members joining! Phil, you're going to love the Deere. And for future reference, I always recommend using the "watch list" feature instead of bidding on multiple tractors. But you handled it like a pro. Good luck with the auction — keep us posted! 🤙

Servus Phil! 👋 Welcome from a fellow Bavarian! Glad you got it sorted. The 6120M is a solid choice for our hilly terrain. For the auction, I'd add one thing — always double-check the listing for "reserve not met" or "buy-it-now" options. Sometimes those can save you from bidding wars entirely. Good luck!

One more tip from the Alps: if you're bidding on tractors from different countries, check the import paperwork rules before you bid. I nearly won a tractor in Germany that would have cost me a fortune in Austrian registration. Doesn't apply if you're in Bavaria, but worth mentioning for others reading this later! 🏔️
